The Q-Pon® label is a two-layer construction. The self-adhesive lower label is laminated onto a layer of paper which is glued to the lower label at the edges.

The label can be opened with the help of perforation on each side or a recloseable or removable adhesive. The label can therefore be printed on three sides, but takes up no more space than a similar, conventional label.
